For Bluewater

A westward view includes the new footbridge taking shape, in addition to the erection of V-shaped
platform canopies. The footbridge staircases are decidedly wide to accommodate high passenger

No. 465031 was pairing with No. 465235 on a Gravesend stopping service, and was framed by the
new footbridge. The footbridge here is fully enclosed, but unlike that at Dartford, comprises meshed
windows, allowing at least some natural light in. David Glasspool

The new station building is now open for business: two ticket booths are available, in addition to a
''Fares To Pay'' counter. Doors are of the automatic sliding type, and the inside is light and airy.
