A night view of the ''high-level'' station building shows the well-lit concourse and glazed façade. The

potential retail space has yet to be filled - above this area exists the station's control/security rooms.

A London-bound view includes several hundred new saplings in the foreground, separated from the

tracks by a line of palisade fencing. The platform canopies are mildly V-shaped, and in the background,

underneath the station building, can be seen the platform escalators. David Glasspool

A view across the southern ends of the platforms shows the ''up'' side station avoiding line in the

foreground and, in the background, the floodlights of the car parks. The CTRL lines are signalled
