Class 373

Trans Manche Super Train

South Western Division

A familiar scene at Vauxhall on 25th July 2007 shows a ''Three Capitals'' set on the last leg of its

journey, wending its way back to Waterloo. Alongside are domestic units of Classes 444 and 455.

Eastern Region

On 4th July 2001, a motley bunch of traction presented itself at London Kings Cross. From left to right,

we see the power car of an InterCity 125 set, followed by a pair of Driving Van Trailers (DVT), and

finally, one of the leased ''Regional'' Class 373 formations. The latter retains its ''Eurostar'' colourings,

although is devoid of this company's markings, and is seen in its first year of service on the East Coast

Main Line. David Glasspool
